CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION:
The Founder and monks of St. Benedict’s Abbey are thrilled to invite you to the celebration of our 25th Anniversary of foundation (August 15, 1985 – August15, 2010).
A series of events have been planned for the celebration of this Anniversary:
- Oblates Gathering Aug. 12-15
- Concert of Praise and Worship - Aug. 13th – 7:00 p.m.
- Special Anniversary Mass and Dinner - Aug. 14th – 5:30 p.m.
- Anniversary Mass English – Aug. 15th – 10:00 a.m.
- Anniversary Mass Spanish – Aug. 15th – 3:00 p.m.
For our Oblate Community, who will be participating in this celebration we ask you to submit your registration form by May 7, 2010.
Another series of communications will be sent out February, March and April that will include more detailed information.
Please, make an effort to make it to this special event. Please, also feel free to invite other friends and relatives and other people who might be interested in the work of our Abbey.
We look forward to celebrating this time together in prayer and fellowship.

María, Madre, Reina, fiel al llamado de Dios, amante de Cristo, servidora del Reino y fiel acompañante de la Iglesia peregrine; Madre de la Unidad. Veinticinco años hacen ya, que pusimos ante tu cuidado materno, nuestra comunidad. Veinticinco años hace ya, que hemos experimentado tu presencia de Madre y amiga, en nuestro caminar. Hoy, volvemos a entregarte nuestra comunidad, ayúdanos a ascender, a los valores más altos y nobles del Reino. Danos la fuerza de perseverar ante las persecuciones, calumnias, tormentos, incomprensiones y tribulaciones de la vida. Se nuestro amparo y nuestro consuelo, abogada, Madre. Renueva nuestra fe en tu Hijo, haznos fieles a El sin importar las consecuencias. Haznos fuertes en la esperanza, firmes en la vocación de la unidad; que podamos hacer visible el deseo de tu Hijo Jesucristo de que todos seamos uno. Ayúdanos a presentarle a El una iglesia reconciliada, unida y contemplativa. Unida viviste siempre a tu Hijo; únenos tu a El y con El haznos testimonios de esperanza para la Iglesia. Amen.

Mary, Mother, Queen, faithful to God’s call, lover of Christ; servant of the Kingdom and faithful companion of the pilgrim Church; Mother of Unity. Twenty-Five years has it been since we placed under your maternal care our community. Twenty-Five years has it been since we experienced your presence of mother and friend in our path. Today again, we place before you our community. Help us to ascend to the highest and most noble values of the kingdom. Give us the strength to persevere in the midst of persecutions, slander, torments, incomprehension’s, and tribulations of life. Be are refuge and our consolation, defender, Mother. Renew our faith in your Son; make us faithful to Him regardless of consequences. Make us strong in hope, firm in our vocation of unity; we make visible the desire of your Son, Jesus Christ that we all may be one. Help us to present to Him a reconciled, united, contemplative Church. United always to your Son you lived. United us to him, and with Him; make us a testimony of hope for the Church. Amen.
